Initiative 1. New Business Innovation Acceleration Program

This program brings together different people and companies, which are working on real innovation and renewal initiatives. The program has a Real Action Learning approach. Participants bring in their innovation projects to work on during the program. In the first 2 years participants are exposed to the thinking and experience of network of academics, business people, scientists, mega patterns and business concepts and tools to accelerate the innovation capability of participants and their companies. Intervision and mentoring are a part of this program is, to help participants learn and bring forward their innovation projects. Organizational dynamics, strategy and corporate governance are addressed to help the projects get executed in the companies. Only a limited number of companies are allowed to participate in a round.

Initiative 2. Strategic Dynamics in the Health Care Industries

Different studies on the heath care and life sciences industries have been and are conducted each year by the Decision Group BV. Among others studies have been conducted on New Drug introduction strategies, post-patent strategies by pharmaceutical companies and European business integration approaches of pharmaceutical companies. During the years also international reimbursement systems, health prevention and social security systems, the roles and effects of arbodiensten have been studied.

Currently we participate in the Nyenrode Strategy Center study on the roles and options of health insurance companies in the Netherlands.

Initiative 3. The Decision Lab

The Decision Lab of The Decision Group performs a cornerstone role in the enabling of strategic dialogue and strategic alignment sessions. The Decision Lab serves our consultants and our clients with:

• A laptop based computer system which enables brainstorming, scenario-analyses, business analyses, voting, business plan creation, joint project work, open space and other workshop techniques etc.
• state-of-art decision-making software tools on business modelling, scenario-analyses, conjoint-analyses, soft systems methodology, gaming, creativity enhancement, CAS
• a repository and build up of our intellectual capital and multimedia capabilities.
